2017 SEED ESSA Competition
The Department published the Notice Inviting Applications (NIA) for the 2017 Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) competition on April 20, 2017.
On May 8, 2017, the Department published a correction notice to extend the deadline for submission of applications to June 21, 2017.
On May 26, 2017, the Department published a correction notice to remove a duplicate selection factor under the Management Plan criterion and extend the deadline to June 23, 2017.
This is the second of two competitions that the SEED program is running this year and the first ever competition run under the new authorization in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

Unless the applicant qualifies for an exception to the electronic submission requirement, all SEED grant applications must be submitted electronically via Grants.gov.
