Both Arizona and Georgia chose to have the state collect and report data as a part of the comprehensive needs assessment process rather than requiring districts or schools to gather them all on their own. Each state experienced unique successes and challenges as staff worked through this task; in this episode, they share critical lessons learned that may help others who are considering this approach avoid pitfalls and leverage success.
