Supporting America’s School Infrastructure Grant Program (SASI)

Overview

The purpose of this program is to increase the capacity of States to support high-need local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools in leveraging other available Federal, State, and local resources to improve school facilities and environments through public school infrastructure improvements to ensure that their public school facilities are safe, healthy, sustainable, and equitable learning environments for all students.

The U.S. Department of Education (Department) issued a notice inviting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2023 for the Supporting America’s School Infrastructure (SASI) grant program on June 2, 2023. Additional information for applicants is available here.

SASI Application Deadline Extended to August 18, 2023

The SASI application deadline has been extended to August 18, 2023. For more information, see the Federal Register Notice.

FY 2023 Call for Peer Reviewers

The peer reviewer application has closed. If you submitted an application prior to the July 14, 2023, deadline, the Department will contact you in August.
