National Center on School Infrastructure (NCSI)

Overview

The purpose of the NCSI program is to establish a national center on school infrastructure that will serve as a clearinghouse of resources for States and local educational agencies (LEAs) related to improving and developing safe, healthy, sustainable, and equitable public school infrastructure through public school infrastructure improvements, and provide technical assistance (TA) to Supporting America’s School Infrastructure (SASI) grantees and high-need LEAs seeking to leverage available resources to improve public school facilities for all students.

Announcing National Center on School Infrastructure Grant Applications Open

The U.S. Department of Education (Department) issued a notice inviting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2023 for the National Center on School Infrastructure (NCSI) grant program on June 2, 2023. Additional information for applicants is available here.

FY 2023 Call for Peer Reviewers

The peer reviewer application has closed. If you submitted an application prior to the July 14, 2023, deadline, the Department will contact you in August.
