Formula Grants

The MEP Consortium Incentive Grants are authorized by section 1308(d) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (2015). Through this program, the Department provides financial incentives to State Educational Agencies (SEAs) to participate in high quality consortia that improve the interstate or intrastate coordination of migrant education programs by addressing key needs of migratory children who have their education interrupted.
