FY 2020 Competition Timeline

  • Application available: November 26, 2019
  • Webinar for potential applicants: 1:00pm, December 5, 2019 Eastern Time
  • Deadline for transmittal of applications: 11:59:59 pm, January 10, 2020, Eastern Time – CLOSED
  • Awards expected to be announced by: March 31, 2020

FY 2020 Application Information

Pre-Application Webinar:

  • The Department held a pre-application Webinar for prospective applicants on December 5, 2019 at 1:00pm Eastern Time. Please click here to access the PDF presentation for the 2020 competition.
  • This webinar reviewed the competition’s eligibility requirements, priorities, selection criteria, and application. Additionally, the webinar addressed the steps required to complete the Grants.gov registration process.

Application Submission:

  • Applications must be submitted electronically through the Grants.gov system at http://grants.gov/.
  • Please do not e-mail an electronic copy of a grant application to us.

Registering on Grants.gov:

  • Applicants must register at Grants.gov prior to submitting an application.
  • gov recommends allowing several weeks to complete all registration steps.
  • You may begin working on your application while completing the registration process, but you cannot submit an application until all of the registration steps are complete.
