The Department of Education published the Notice Inviting Applications (NIA) for the FY 2016 grant competition in the Federal Register on May 31, 2016. The closing date was July 15, 2016. This competition has an estimated funding of $1,750,000.

Note: The Academies application closed on Friday, July 15, 2016. The Department will announce the awards on or after October 1, 2016.
