How do we support educators who are discovering innovative new ways to help all students grow and learn? That question is at the core of our Investing in Innovation (i3) grant program. Through i3, we support teachers, school leaders and their partners to identify effective strategies that encourage student success.
In this year’s competition (the sixth year of i3) we will award $112 million—building on a portfolio of $1.2 billion in existing investments with 143 partner organizations. As part of that effort, we are thrilled to announce this year’s highly rated i3 Development grant pre-applicants. These highly rated pre-applications were selected by peer-reviewers in the field and describe promising ideas that will be built out into full applications for the Development grant competition. Ultimately, the highest-rated full Development applications will each have the opportunity to earn up to $3 million for their project.
